    Keeping Pine River Park Open
    by Lance Pounder
Because of Spokane County budget cuts we are looking for help to keep Pine River Park open this summer. We are seeking help in the form of volunteers and donations.

Volunteers are needed to pick up garbage and to empty garbage cans into dumpsters at the park. We are also looking for a group of neighbors with riding lawn mowers to mow the grass. If you can volunteer for these necessities please call Lance Pounder, 466-6751.

Monetary donations will be used to offset some of the cost to help keep the park open. Mail your contribution to:

    Harla Jean Biever, Treas., FLSRV

    2220 E. Colbert Rd., Colbert, WA. 99005
