About the Event

The headwaters of Deep Creek lie just east of the Audubon Lakes and are an area scoured by the Ice Age floods that today include basalt scab rock, potholes, Mima mounds, railroad tracks, and extensive wetlands. Each spring, the area fills up with a riot of wildflowers, insects, waterfowl and migrant songbirds.

We are lucky to have local author Jack Nisbet guiding us. You can ready more about Jack at

Directions: We will meet at the Inland Northwest Land Conservancy parking lot on Bisson Road just east of Reardan. If you are coming west on Highway 2 from Spokane, turn right on Bisson Road before the sign for the Reardan city limits.
